Based on Monday’s PET scan, I’m in

That’s great news of course, the battle is won. I still need to fight the war: current chemo round, and whatever the stem cell transplant brings.
For now, I’m doing my 3rd tour in the hospital; due to my ear issues, one of the citostatica has been replaced with another one that potentially “has different side effects” and is less heavy on the ear nerve (which is absolutely the scientifically correct naming of that nerve.) A pleasant side effect already is that I don’t need to get 5 litres of fluids per day through the IV, so less of a water retention issue.
In other, medically almost as relevant, good news, I managed to connect the hospital gym’s indor bike to my Rouvy app as a power/cadence/heart rate monitor, and my watch to the indoor bike as a heart rate monitor, so I can sit on the indoor bike, and go to places. Yesterday I did a chunk of Lago di Resia; little chunk, admittedly, it was in the evening, after the chemo IV. But it’s OK, I did that route IRL back in 2023.

Thatsmyboy, great news, Gergő. Thanks for the update and keep it up. Cool rides, too. The Dude In Red in one of the photos looks vaguely familiar :)
So glad to know about the remission. And of course the better news is that you can bike again 😜
Keep going places! Sending positive vibes 🤞 and maybe some Nerd memes on WhatsApp 😅
