Had a checkup this Monday.

(I think) I’m out of the woods for this first round, mostly. Took pretty much exactly a week.

Aggressive chemo is aggressive, but I’m done with the first 4 day round.

Chemo regimen and where are we.
I have started my first round of chemo yesterday.
The plan now is 2 rounds of 4-day intensive chemotherapy (in hostpital, dripping in 24hrs/day), a protocol called R-DHAP. Yesterday was OK as I only got fluids and the real deal started in the evening. Today is less good, but manageable, I am exhausted like a race dog.
Between the rounds 2-3 weeks of break (unclear to me if 2 or 3), then repeat, then a PET CT and then we see what’s next. I am part of a genetic study now to see if there’s some DNA thing causing me to repeat the fun. Not part of a Karma study yet.
